How do you live through a pandemic? The biggest lesson I have learnt is that, through it all, life goes on.
I have no doubts that we have all been impacted by COVID-19 - directly and indirectly. It has changed so much of our regular ways of living - our jobs, our workplace, our vacation plans, our spare time plans - almost everything looks different. We have all experienced some feeling of loss - even if it is of our old way of living.
From it, a new global norm is being created - and so everywhere you go, you hear about - wearing your masks, physical/social distancing, sanitize… (and now, vaccinate).
Nonetheless, I hope you hear me amidst the noise:
you have life...
So LIVE!
I know it is easier said than done. I know it may feel irreverent. I know it may feel impossible or risky - but you have no choice. You are given this one life - this one chance - to be here and do something ‘significant’ while you are here. (Note: Significant doesn't need to mean that you have changed the world (as much as we would all love to); it could simply mean you have impacted ‘the world’ of one other soul on earth - and to that one, I promise you - it will mean EVERYTHING to them).

The fact is that we can’t “claim-back” or get a “refund” of the past 365 days of our lives. That time has come and literally gone. We’ll never get it back. So it is imperative that you live your life...to the fullest...even during this pandemic (or panorama or paracetamol - however you have chosen to refer to it 😊.
LIVE!
Authentically. Unapologetically. In full.
Make every single day count.
Change your career. Start that business. Go on that trip. Go back to school. Get married. Build that home. Start your family. Forgive that person for what they did. Call that one person you have regretted moving away from. Let go of the pain. Start therapy to process some of your traumas. Be better. Live your today.
Whatever your lifelong dream and aspirations have been - DO IT!
Because as morbid as this may sound, “which one of us knows how much time we have left on this earth?” The answer is none. So...LIVE!
